What?

For one of our clients, PBM Express, we are looking for a Sales Manager (M / V). A strong man or woman who, based on his or her network, experience or effort, really enters clients and knows how to move his or her people. He/she knows how to convert the energy of sales colleagues into a customer-oriented approach that really benefits the customer.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Sales Manager who has an eye for developments in the market. The Sales Manager has made planning & organizing all activities to find these potential customers a second nature. He/she can anticipate setbacks but also sticks out his / her neck. We highly value entrepreneurship. With vision? Even better.

We are looking for a real leader who inspires the team of 2 Account Managers, 3 office staff and 2 agents by being an example. Someone who gives confidence by coaching the team. That gives room to the insights of the team but also requires commitment. We are looking for someone who wants to be responsible for his team. Finally, we expect super result-driven.

With 20 employees, PBM Express serves many customers in Europe, with the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain as the spearhead. The employees are driven, professional and have a lot of knowledge and experience. The client sees the employees as a force behind the success and the growth achieved. PBM Express has in recent years developed into a major player in the European market for "licensed merchandise" and is an official distributor of various brands. The market for licensed merchandise is growing but is constantly changing. The client must constantly respond to this by finding new products and developing new services and using new channels. Space has been created in the commercial team. This requires a new Commercial Leader who can provide the team with new insights, inspire and motivate. This can ensure that the challenges for the team remain real challenges.

What is your background?

  • A completed HBO education (or at least HBO + work and thinking level)
  • At least 10 years of demonstrable leadership and sales experience. If that is in our industry, or an adjacent industry, then that is an advantage.
  • The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium & Luxembourg as a working area, experience in that environment is an advantage.
  • Stayer on the roll but not someone who fits the store
  • Coaching skills
  • Positive persuasiveness and effective negotiation and closing techniques
  • Solid connecting force and high sharpness on results
  • A good dose of ambition, drive, perseverance and commercially intuitive
  • A healthy dose of humor and team spirit
  • You bring structure and independence to your work
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity in solving complex customer questions

PBM Express is located in Dordrecht. Your field of work is Europe, with the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy and Spain as spearhead.

  • Daily management of the commercial department (7 FTE)
  • Customer responsibility for the large accounts
  • Vision and goal orientation
  • Result counts, people even more.
