Abflexkracht has been working as a cooperative for more than 50 years, with all its talent and resources, to support the sector in which they operate. In addition to offering continuity with the deployment of company carers and the deployment and / or payrolls of (foreign) flex employees at various levels, the client wants to be of service to its clients by offering innovative services and surprising products.
The owners of this cooperative are the members. The statutory board is a representation of these members and the board is elected and appointed by the General Assembly. In this way, the democratic nature of the cooperative is preserved.
Abflexkracht believes in the entrepreneurial power of every member and is passionate about providing knowledge, skills, and capacity to its customers and members so that these companies continue to connect with the rapidly changing market. These changes in the market require a new perspective on entrepreneurship. And to help our customers and members make this transition, they see it as a task to offer versatile talent, sometimes in a surprisingly new way and sometimes in the old familiar way. A large proportion of our clients' customers are members of the cooperative.
Spearheads for the medium term
- further development of the strategy;
- improving the positioning of the company in the market and in the network;
- increasing (hours) revenue and margin;
- coaching the core team and employees to a higher level.
Abflexkracht is looking for a candidate who will further strengthen the company in the coming years and position it in a strongly changing context. As general manager, you manage the organization and you are ultimately responsible for achieving the annual objectives and revenue and profit figures. The financial management that you conduct is transparent. You are responsible for the development and implementation of company policy. As director of the employment agency, you give substance to the policy line and course that has already been set.
In addition, you are of course the face of the organization, you act with integrity and you know how to inspire employees. You ensure dynamic and targeted communication, both internally and in the market. You maintain relationships with members of the cooperative, customers, other stakeholders and external parties. You periodically report the progress of the agreed milestones and strategic and action plans to the board.
You have experience in a comparable (preferably AB) working environment, preferably in a management position. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the employment, temporary and/or payroll industry. You think in terms of opportunities and possibilities, preferably have experience or affinity with the green sector and you are cooperative-minded. Your leadership style is based on enthusiasm and the ability to give people the space to shape their own professionalism. You are responsible for a team of around 65 direct employees.
Offer and employment conditions
Abflexkracht is currently building its future. You get the unique opportunity to support the board in this and to make full use of your knowledge and experience. A course has been set and the emphasis will primarily be on further development. We are looking for a candidate who is available in the short term and full time for this challenging position. The client is located near Schiphol. It is ideal if you live in this area.
The position of director is titular. The director has the duties and powers laid down in his or her employment contract and job description.
The titular director holds the position of director within the cooperative but is not a member of the board. The director is therefore accountable to the board of the cooperative.
Good primary and secondary employment conditions are offered that are proportional to the responsibilities, in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Industrial Care Services, including a company car, telephone, laptop, and a good pension scheme
There is a temporary appointment for a period of 1 year with the prospect of a permanent appointment.
What is the procedure?
After a successful introduction to the recruiter, you have at least 3 conversations with the client, the board. A possible assessment can be part of the procedure. After approval, a final decision follows by nomination to the General Members' Meeting.
