New Business Development Manager / Senior Account Manager Datacenters

Who are we looking for?

For NLDC we are looking for an expert in the field of sales for Datacenter activities. Are you ready for a new challenge and do you want to be able to make a lasting impact? Then we are looking for you.


What do we expect?

With an unlimited drive for expansion, crazy enthusiasm and empathy, you effectively put the NLDC startup on the Dutch market. In this way, you achieve growth in a market where there is also growth. You ensure excellent (direct and indirect) sales and you focus on the development and expansion of national and international customers.

This component became autonomous in 2017. It is a small but special company with very ambitious growth plans. Currently, there are data centers in Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Almere, Amsterdam, Oude Meer, and Groningen. You travel a lot and attend trade fairs and events to sell NLDC and its products and services. You go to the farmer to sell more data center services.

You can find the office at our national airport Schiphol, from where you see the international customers flock to. By the way, you are not there to see much yourself, but at least for the weekly sales meeting on Friday. The rest of the week you are "in the market" to pitch with prospects and stay in touch with existing customers.

The NLDC sales and marketing team with 10 professionals. Here the focus is on new customers in new customer segments, such as Cloud, Hosting & IT Providers, Managed Service Providers, .com and gaming companies.


What do you bring?

As a senior account manager data center at NLDC, you take up the challenge of marketing this start-up and you ensure creative and decisive growth. You are entrepreneurial and approach the customers! You act immediately, you roll up your sleeves and you are an extroverted networker who is completely in love with giving this subsidiary wings. We can also count on your:

• HBO diploma in a commercial direction or comparable MBO diploma if you have very good qualities for the position

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience that allows you to fit in well with this position, for example as a field manager account manager, sales manager, international account manager or new business account manager at a hardware supplier

• Knowledge of the European and Dutch "Datacenter, Cloud & Connectivity" market.

• Fantastic communication and negotiation skills in Dutch and English

• Excellent skills with online customer systems (CRM)

And we count on you:

• You generate large leads and prospects convert into customers. You go for strong relationships and connection

• You are an enthusiastic ambassador of NLDC with a big gun factor

• Actively builds and maintains an up-to-date funnel (CRM in Salesforce)

• Have a lot of freedom to develop refreshing sales and marketing initiatives. You give the policy entrepreneurial hands and feet. A real business developer!

Work together with your new colleagues. Together with other account managers, you can work throughout the Netherlands. Of course, we take into account as much as possible where you live and you too can express your preference.


What we offer

• A gross monthly salary of (maximum) € 6,000.00

• A variable reward based on your performance (commission / STI 60% fixed and 40% flexible)

These employment conditions are part of a 40-hour working week.
