Business Development Director Netherlands.
A true ‘acquisition type’ / manager / director that can utilize his of her network to open doors of potential customers that are interested into digital services. Someone who knows how to convert the latent customer needs into a customer-oriented deals that really benefits the customer.
Symphony Digital will start in the Netherlands, as a part of Symphony Group international. We are looking for a Business Development Director who can independently plan, organize & execute. The one who is able to find and reach potential digital customers. This all, based on a solid & strong own network. Not only able to score a deal, but also someone who can really listen and understand the real customer needs. Someone who can convince the potential customer and negotiate. In addition to a full focus on acquisition, this person will, after the first customer successes, also help in building out a consultancy office in the Netherlands, that is focused on digital services & products. In this way, the role can therefore eventually evolve to Managing Director Netherlands or even wider, depending on success.
Symphony Group has recently developed into a major international player in the Software Development Outsourcing market, currently transforming into digital service & products delivery. They now have 12 years of experience and have more than 250 FTEs across the Europe.
Due to the growth ambitions, extensions are needed in the commercial team. This requires a new digital commercial hunter that can help to start a business on the Dutch market. This requires lead generation, generation of deal flow and deal acquisition.

What is your background
Location is Amsterdam and region is the Netherlands. You will need to rent a space on behalf of Symphony Digital where the Dutch office will be located and further extended. The client is in fact a "start-up" in the Netherlands but a major player in Europe. With around 250 employees in 5 locations in the Balkans and 1 in the US, they now serve hundreds of customers. The employees are very driven, professional and have a lot of knowledge and experience. The client sees the employees as the major force behind the success and growth achieved. Personal development is therefore of high importance to them.
There is also an opportunity to extend the responsibilities and scope of this assignment into Europe, where you can grow into Director of Business Development Europe. This can be unlocked with exceptional performance in the first 12 months, and the right candidate with relevant experience that will patiently execute in favour of Symphony Digital.
During the first 12 months you will closely work with Symphony C level including two founders.

After a successful introduction to The AccelerationGroup you have at least 2 conversations with the client and an (online) assessment. You will meet with the decision makers in the Netherlands.
